Vesica Piscis Earrings

Each earring is about an inch (2.5 cm) in diameter. They swing very nicely below the ear. They are light for a medium sized earring, comfortable to wear all day long. My wife doesn't like heavy earrings. She loves these.

These earrings perfectly compliment the Vesica Piscis Pendant in sterling silver.

This Vesica Piscis design is from the cover of the Chalice Well in Glastonbury. This well has been used by pilgrims for millenia to heal themselves and get closer with God.

Look at the symbol and notice that it is two circles overlapping, each with its edge going through the other's center.

The overlap creates a fish shape at the center of the symbol. It kind of gives you a clue that the early Christians were into sacred geometry as well as Union with the Father (who Jesus spoke about as Abba, or "Daddy"! This let's us know how intimate Jesus meant for our relationship with the creator to be!) I digress. :-)

Inside the fish shape is where two worlds come together. It is where the inner spiritual world is joined with the outer physical world. It's that doorway that walking the labyrinth provides to each of us. We realize the macrocosm while in the microcosm. Robert Ferre spoke about this symbol in a talk he gave at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky. We were there to create a labyrinth pattern for them.

This is the place where God works through us. We are in the Zone here. Function feels smooth and fluid. Intuition and facts are united here. It's the gateway to the Sacred. We can't help but know God when we are in this space.

This is where Heaven is in Earth and Earth is in Heaven.
