This is the image of the Marco Cat on a piece of white paper. The dots
around the edges are where I've burnt and melted the paper onto the polished
wax block. The draftsman's lead holder at the center right of the picture
has an awl shaped bit in it. The tip of the awl is almost sharp-just rounded
enough to not catch the paper and rip it. By tracing the outline of the
design on the paper, the design is transferred to the block of wax.
