If it were to be cast at this point it would weigh nearly 2 ounces in 14K gold.

This is uncomfortably heavy as a pendant for most people. It is also affordable by only a small segment of the jewelry collecting public. So  hollow it out before it is cast.

Cut it in half, side to side, and scoop out the solid center, leaving a much thinner and lighter sculpture.
