Monday evening, we finished coloring the pattern. It was a long day which included making a huge tarp to cover the pattern in the event of rain. This image was made before we covered the labyrinth with the tarp.
There was no web page posted on Monday, the 12th, because we invested 13 hours on the pattern. I was just too tired to type anything.
During our day received a delight filled visit from our helpers in the Marketing Department! Karen, Denise, and Linda came down to add their energy to the 'painting'. Karen sent this image and a link to an article in the Daily Herald. Thanks Karen!
A bit later in the day, we were visited by Kathleen Yosko, CEO and President of Marianjoy. She was showing a lady around who is writing a book on spiritual women. (At least this is what I was told, second hand! I was on the roof and they had left the labyrinth before I could get down to say Hi!)
We covered the labyrinth Monday night with our tarp. I wonder if this act prevented it from raining? Whatever kept the rain away, we are grateful. We invested all day tuesday in scrapeing away extra color. I'll post some images of our sealing technique on Friday, the 17th.
On the last day of coloring, on the last line being colored, I demonstrated the reason that all labyrinth makers always consider the lines on a labyrinth as 'wet'! There is a good reason for this rule.
Please visit Robert Ferre's web site Labyrinth Enterprises for complete information on how to have your own labyrinth!

Click here for page 10. This next page has an image of the labyrinth with just one coat of sealer on it. The sealer will darken all the colors and make the Labyrinth look wet. It's Thursday and I'm on my way home right now, at about 29,000 feet. Thank you for all your hospitality! (no pun intended)
