The view from the top of the ladder.
The pattern is much more clear from this perspective.
The lady in the foreground was playfully walking the outer circuit
and lunations at the same time. Somehow it seemed that with each step into
a lunation she drew in a large quantity of energy. As she shifted her weight
into the labyrinth, it was as though she were emptying a huge bucket of
some fluid energy into the circle. She looked just as she is in this photo-quiet,
curious, playful.
None of these ladies wanted to leave the labyrinth. Their paces all
slowed as they got close to the exit. Each reported feeling so good in
'there' that they wanted to spend more time in the labyrinth.
During our sharing of experiences later, I mentioned that the pattern
was a Roman Catholic device, in which the Stations of the Cross could be
prayed. One lady, a practicing Catholic, began to get a little teary and
said that Mary had come to her during her walk. She hadn't intended to
say anything. She hadn't known why she took her rosary with her into the
labyrinth. But the feeling that Mary was with her was undeniably strong
for her. I think she'll walk the labyrinth next time she gets the
chance.
