The paint wand in my right hand is attached to the string in the lower right of this image. The string is attached to a pivot at the center of the new labyrinth:
Between the paint wand and the string is a turnbuckle. The turnbuckle allows me to quickly and precisely adjust the radius that I am painting. Imagine if I had to tie a knot to within a quarter of an inch of where the labyrinth needed to be painted! The turnbuckle allows me to adjust the radius back an forth within a very tiny length. Here is a close-up view of the turnbuckle. It is tied onto the paint wand with string and tied to the center pivot of the labyrinth with another string.
With the paint wand set up on the string connected to the center of the labyrinth, we start painting. The
next pageshows Jon laying down a line with the paint wand.
