We finished 95% of our cutting. Now we just have to cut the tips of the lunations, make the rose at the center of the labyrinth and detail things. Then we'll be into the coloring part of the process. I'll post some wonderful images given to me by John and Judy Hughes tonight.
Thursday we detailed. We cut and scraped and ground away at all the small imperfections we could find on the pattern. Our work when smoothly and quickly. Were were done with the detailing by 2:30pm. Then we started to spray wash the pattern. There was a thin brown film over our work area. It took 5 hours to spray wash until we were satisfied with it.
Here are some images taken earlier this week.
We dined with the Hughes' last night. It was a later dinner since Robert and I spray washed until about 7:30. John and Judy served us filets and salmon! We are eating like royalty. Thank you, Livermore Labyrinth Community for your hospitality and generosity.
You can see some of my labyrinth jewelry at another area of my site by clicking here. I have a few pieces with me. I'll be making more when I get home. Delivery takes about two weeks on orders.
