We've met a bunch of awfully nice people since we arrived.
John Hughes picked us up at the airport. Robert and I sat with John and Judy Hughes in their backyard on Sunday, waiting for David and Kathy to get back from lunch.
We went over to the Church and installed the Labyrinth Enterprises equipment trailer in the breeze way.
John then took us to Don and Patti Griggs home for a BBQ. The Bell Choir was having its beginning of the new Bell Ringing Season get-together around the Griggs' pool.
This little section is being written Monday night. We've acid etched the concrete, laid out the labyrinth pattern, and had a sumptuous dinner with Darryl and Karen Albertson. The halibut Darryl caught at Kodiak Island was very tastey. Karen's roast potatoes delicious. Michael's piano improvisations delightful.
Our full crew is Robert Ferre, David Ferreand Kathy , Michael Stevens. Dr. Stevens plays a mean piano and has come from Australia to see how Robert makes a labyrinth. He plans to go back to his hospital in Sydney and install a labyrinth there. And me, Chuck Hunner, your blog writer.
Livermore is turning out to be a beautiful place to build a labyrinth.
Tuesday we'll begin the cutting. Come on over and watch us cut the lines into the concrete. OK, so it's a little like watching grass grow, but it is kind of neat to see the pattern evolve into a completed labyrinth.
