Art Ramsey draws the wall between the 7th and 8th circuits with a taping wand invented by Robert Ferre. I saw his design at the Labyrinth Society Gathering in 2001 in Atlanta. It worked so well I had to make one when I got home. Now everyone who helps with the masking tape labyrinths can stand up and lay out the tape.
The scene looks like this about an hour into the process. It takes about 4 hours to lay out this pattern with 8 people. Each time we innovate a new aspect to this process. We made templates with which to 'draw' the labrys'. These curving path ends really soften the masking tape design.
