Church of the Good Shepard, Augusta, Georgia August, 2004 The Good Shepard showed us classical Southern Hospitality while we were in this center of Georgia culture.
The grounds are well kept and a shining example of coherence.

The masonry is remarkable. The bricks were all made locally. The style reminds me of late Victorian/Art Deco, if there is such a thing! At any rate, the outward beauty of the grounds and buildings gives a hint of the gem held in the Fellowship Hall.
