Labyrinth at Kanuga Conference Center, Hendersonville, NC

The slab is massive! It's 45 feet across and has footers 24 inches deep around the edge. The slab itself is 8 inches thick of reinforced concrete! Take your choice - land a helicopter or park a semi-tractor trailer, this labyrinth will hold either! And it provides the perfect platform for large groups of people to peacefully enter their inner worlds.
	There is an extraordinary sense of grounded-ness at this labyrinth. This is an image of the finished pattern. Landscaping is ongoing.

	Robert cuts the 12 concentric circles which make up the Chartres pattern. You can see the unique boom he created to maintain an even radius to his masonry saw. He is in the position we assume about 90% of the time we're working on the labyrinth. Hands and knees, hands and knees!
