TEISHIN

The needles have a small ball at one end and are tapered to a point at the opposite end. I make needles to order. If you want one with a round ball or oval ball, please let me know. They are not made to insert. One tonifies points by touching the rounded end of the teishin to the meridian point. Cover the oval end with the index finger. When the Ki is felt to be present, quickly withdraw the tip of the teishin keeping the meridian point covered with the finger. This jump starts the ki along the meridian. Most acupunturists I know use the ball on the meridian point. I've heard of one practitioner, very macho fellow, who uses the pointed end on the meridian point. I guess you could call that 'yang style'.

Highly polished. Hand made with love. Ki not included!

A foremost acupuncturist recently commented on the different metals available for teishin:

Stainless is like driving a Ford
Silver is like driving a new VW
Gold is like driving an Audi
And platinum is like driving a Porsche

A client who practices Medical Qigong writes:

I just wanted to let you know that your shi zhen (teishin) needles are remarkable. The quality is unsurpassed, and the feedback from patients has been uniformly and overwhelmingly positive.

I am very grateful to have found your products, and I am recommending them to my medical qigong students.

After a recent experiment with a platinum teishin a highly biased and dedicated acupuncturist writes:

"I recently tried the new platinum/ruthenium teishin. I was amazed at my ability to feel and work with the ki. My ability to change a patient's pulse by tonification greatly improved. I knew I needed one. I am very happy with my platinum teishin. I recommend one for every serious meridian therapist. "

page revised October, 2007 - More price changes are coming as I re-calculate my costs for the higher metals prices. Silver, Gold and Platinum continue to increase in price in response to our Government flooding the world with their fiat currency.
