Japanese Meridian Therapy Tools

Teishin, zanshin, and teienshin are non-insertion needles used exclusively in rubbing or pressing methods. Very sensitive patients, children, and needle shy patients respond wonderfully to these touch therapy techniques. The best article I've seen on these techniques is here. Suzanne has written a book on Medical Qi Gong which is available at her website: Breath of the Dao.

These tools are made by hand of high quality Sterling silver, gold or platinum. No plating is used. It is natural for sterling to tarnish so we include a polishing cloth with your first order of $100 or more. The teishin are evaluated for the best direction for Ki flow before they are shaped. Click on one of the underlined links below to see images of the tools.

Here is a brief comment on my work from a successful acupuncturist:

"I got the tools you sent me. The silver Teishins are beautiful. I showed them to my friend (who has a lot more experience with Teishins than I do) - and the immediate reply was "what a great shen!"

I don't know if you use that term in your work - but shen is the spirit or ki that comes out and shows the life of the person or thing.

One of the things that keeps coming up with us is how great the shen of your work is - "vibrant" is a term that has been used more than once.

The energy of your pieces is very high, and this REALLY stands out. Of course, this is why I am so pleased that we are working together..." Z. P., Boston.
